Indie Collaborates Pte. Ltd. ("Indie Collaborates", "we", "us", or "our") operates the IC Jobs Board as a talent-matching marketplace connecting Brands and Employers with candidates and creative professionals.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of the IC Jobs Board. Because Brands and candidates use the platform in different ways, this document is structured in three parts:
By completing a purchase, creating a profile, or otherwise using the IC Jobs Board, you agree to the section(s) of these Terms & Conditions applicable to your use of the platform.
APPLIES TO BRANDS & EMPLOYERS
The IC Jobs Board is a talent-matching platform. While your job post will be visible to our candidate network, a specific number of applications is not guaranteed. Application volume may vary depending on factors such as role attractiveness, compensation, market demand, and clarity of your job brief.
The Trial package can be redeemed once per brand and cannot be repurchased.
The IC Jobs Board is a self-serve platform. Indie Collaborates does not manage hiring processes, recruitment, or candidate campaigns on your behalf, unless explicitly engaged under a separate service (e.g. White Glove). All communication, hiring decisions, and agreements are handled directly between you and applicants.
You are solely responsible for:
Indie Collaborates is not a recruitment agency and does not act as an employer or intermediary.
All payments, compensation, contracts, and deliverables are arranged directly between you and the candidate or candidate. Indie Collaborates is not responsible for payment disputes, employment terms, or performance outcomes arising from your engagement of a candidate.
Indie Collaborates does not guarantee content quality, candidate performance, candidate suitability, or hiring outcomes. All roles, deliverables, and expectations must be clearly defined by you in your job brief.
All job posts are subject to review. Indie Collaborates reserves the right to reject or request edits to listings that violate platform guidelines, contain inappropriate or restricted content, or are unclear or misleading. Please allow up to one working day for review.
APPLIES TO CANDIDATES
Applying to brand opportunities does not guarantee collaboration. Brands will contact candidates directly only if they believe the candidate is a suitable fit for their campaign. Indie Collaborates does not guarantee a specific number of job postings, collaborations, or brand responses.
You are responsible for ensuring:
The IC Jobs Board is a brand-candidate matching marketplace. Any collaboration agreements, payments, deliverables, or negotiations occur directly between you and the brand. Indie Collaborates is not responsible for a brand's payment obligations or for disputes between you and a brand.
You acknowledge and agree that:
Indie Collaborates is not responsible for how a brand uses your information once you have shared it with them directly. Exercise discretion when engaging with brands outside the platform.
By submitting content, portfolios, or social media links on the platform, you grant Indie Collaborates a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and share such content for the purpose of promoting your profile and facilitating brand collaborations. You retain full ownership of your content.
You acknowledge that you operate as an independent contractor. Nothing in this platform constitutes employment, partnership, or agency between you and Indie Collaborates.
APPLIES TO EVERYONE
All payments, whether one-off purchases or subscription billing, are final and non-refundable once processed. For subscriptions, cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period.
Where your access is subscription-based, your subscription will automatically renew at the selected billing cycle (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled before the next billing date. You may cancel at any time, subject to Clause C1.
We reserve the right to suspend or remove access for any user who:
Indie Collaborates is not liable for any disputes, hiring decisions, employment outcomes, candidate performance, or project results. All engagements made through the platform are entered into at your own discretion and risk.
By using the IC Jobs Board, you agree to comply with all applicable data protection laws, including the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDAP), the GDPR (where applicable), and other relevant regulations in your jurisdiction. If you are a Brand, you are responsible for ensuring lawful handling of any personal data you receive through the platform.
By using the platform, you acknowledge that Indie Collaborates may collect and process data including names, contact details, professional profiles, and job post or application data. This data may be used to:
Indie Collaborates does not sell personal data to third parties.
You agree that Indie Collaborates may use aggregated and anonymised data for platform insights, industry benchmarking, and marketing or reporting purposes. No personally identifiable information, brand names, or sensitive data will be publicly disclosed without consent.
You agree to use data accessed through the platform only for legitimate hiring or collaboration purposes, and not to store, resell, or misuse any personal information. You agree to maintain reasonable data security practices and to exercise discretion when sharing personal or professional information.
By using the platform, you agree to receive platform updates, job or opportunity-related notifications, and relevant announcements or marketing communications. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
You are responsible for ensuring all information you submit is accurate, complete, and up to date. Indie Collaborates is not liable for missed opportunities or outcomes arising from inaccurate or outdated information.
Indie Collaborates may retain data for as long as necessary to operate and improve the platform, provide ongoing access to opportunities, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. candidates may request account deletion, subject to applicable legal requirements.
While reasonable security measures are in place, Indie Collaborates does not guarantee protection against all risks, unauthorised access, or data breaches. Use of the platform is at your own risk.
The platform may integrate or link with third-party services, such as payment providers or social media platforms. Indie Collaborates is not responsible for the data handling practices or policies of these third parties.
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Indie Collaborates Pte. Ltd. from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from breach of these terms, misuse of the platform or data, or violation of applicable data protection laws.
This document consolidates the previously separate Brand Terms & Conditions and candidate Terms & Conditions into a single page for platform display purposes. It has not yet been reviewed by qualified legal counsel. Please seek review from a Singapore-qualified lawyer before this version replaces the existing live terms.
